How do I create an account?
Click 'Sign Up' on our homepage, enter your details, and choose a password. You can log in immediately after registering. We may ask for supporting documents later if we need to confirm age or eligibility before awarding a prize.
Why might you ask for ID?
We run discretionary age and residency checks to make sure every entrant meets our 18+ and UK residency rules. Any documentation provided is handled securely and only used for verification purposes.
Can I have multiple accounts?
No, each person is only allowed one account. Creating multiple accounts is against our terms of service and may result in account suspension.
How do I reset my password?

How do competitions work?
Choose a competition, select how many tickets you want, and complete your purchase. Each ticket gives you an entry into the draw. On the date specified for each competition, we use a third-party random number generator tool to select from the ticket IDs purchased and entered into the competition draw.
Can I choose my ticket numbers?
No, ticket numbers are assigned automatically and sequentially. This ensures fairness and prevents any possibility of manipulation.
What happens if a competition doesn't sell out?
If a competition does not reach the minimum required ticket sales, we will offer a cash alternative equal to 70% of the total ticket revenue received for that competition. Alternatively, where stated, the draw may be run regardless of tickets sold with the advertised prize being awarded in full.
How many tickets can I buy?
Most competitions have a maximum ticket limit per person to ensure fair play. This limit is clearly shown on each competition page.
Can I cancel my ticket purchase?
No, all ticket purchases are final and cannot be cancelled or refunded. Please ensure you're happy with your selection before completing your purchase.
How are winners selected?
Winners are selected using an independent third-party random number generator tool. The selection process is completely transparent - we select from the ticket IDs purchased and entered into the competition draw. All previous winners are advertised on our website, and results are published immediately after each draw.
Can competition dates be extended?
No. Closing dates are fixed and each draw takes place on the advertised date, even if tickets remain unsold.
Who can enter the competitions?

Can I get a refund on my tickets?

Why are there two wallets?
The two-wallet system helps you manage your funds responsibly. Your Prepaid Wallet is for deposits and playing (with optional limits), while your Regular Wallet stores winnings and allows unrestricted withdrawals.
How do I add funds?
Go to your wallet page and click 'Add Funds'. You can pay by debit/credit card. Funds are added to your Prepaid Wallet and are available immediately.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards. All payments are processed securely using industry-standard encryption.
How do I withdraw my winnings?
Go to your Regular Wallet and click 'Withdraw'. Enter the amount and your bank details. Withdrawals are processed immediately and typically arrive within 2-5 business days.
Are there any fees?

Is there a minimum withdrawal amount?

What if I don't respond to winner notification?
You have 7 days to respond to winner notifications. If we can't reach you after multiple attempts, we may select an alternative winner according to our terms.
Can I choose a cash alternative?
Generally, prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be exchanged for cash. Some special competitions may offer cash alternatives - this will be clearly stated in the competition details.
How are physical prizes delivered?
All physical prizes are delivered free of charge within the UK. Large items like cars are collected from dealerships. Holidays are booked in consultation with you.
Are prizes transferable?
Prizes are generally non-transferable and must be claimed by the account holder. Some prizes (like holiday bookings) may allow you to specify companions.
Do I need to pay tax on prizes?
In the UK, gambling winnings are tax-free. However, you may need to pay tax on any interest earned on cash prizes. We recommend consulting a tax advisor for large wins.

How do I request a spending cap?

Can I take a break from competitions?
Yes. Ask us to pause your account for any period from 24 hours to six months. During a pause you cannot enter competitions, but you can still log in to withdraw winnings.
How do I close my account permanently?
Email contact@rafflerays.co.uk with the subject line 'Account Closure'. We will close the account, confirm by email, and prevent any reopen request for at least six months.

Technical Issues
I can't log in to my account
First, check you're using the correct email address. Try resetting your password. If you're still having issues, contact support with your registered email address.
My payment was declined
Check your card details are correct and you have sufficient funds. Some banks flag prize competitions in the same way they flag gambling transactions—contact your bank to authorise the payment or try another card if the issue persists.
The website isn't loading properly
Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, or use a different browser. Ensure JavaScript is enabled. If problems persist, contact support with details of the issue.
I didn't receive my confirmation email
Check your spam/junk folder and add noreply@rafflerays.co.uk to your contacts. You can resend the confirmation from your account settings or contact support for help.
Can I use the site on mobile?

What is your gambling license number?
Prize competitions that include a real skill element and a free entry route are not classified as gambling, so a UK Gambling Commission licence is not required. Instead, we comply with consumer protection, advertising, and data-privacy law and publish our full rules and free-entry methods for every draw.
